Looking for a bargain.....

These front load washer and dryer, with pedestal drawer stands are for sale for $600 each.  They are appx. 2 years old, been used about 1 year and in storage the rest of the time. They are LG Tromm with the steam cycles, all the bells and whistles, they are navy blue, compare to appx $1200 each Home Depot or Sears, etc.  The pictures don't do them justice.... If you know anyone in the market these are a deal!

There is also a LG side by side refrigerator freezer, I think it's 26cu ft.  It too has been in storage and used appx. 1 year. It's white with all the bells and whistles.  It is also $600.
Here is a close up of the ice maker, it's NICE!

Big Adventure #2...

We left Las Vegas and headed to
Panguitch, UT. to see the grave of
Alva's grandparents on his mothers side.
He had this stone engraved several years
ago and took it up there to the previously
unmarked graves...kinda cool.
We were headed down the road and
Hoke spotted these old run down houses,
and casually mentioned that he always
wanted to go rummaging thru places like
that, and little 83 year old Lavina says
"lets do it!" ... so he hit the brakes and we
left Grandpa in the car and...

...here we go!

This piece of Deseret News from SLC
was behind some wallboard,
you can't see it very good but
the date on it is June 22, 1939!

As you can see I wasn't very well prepared
to go "tip toe-ing thru the tulips"
(note the blood on my leg!)

but it was all worth it!

"Big Adventure"...

We were the "drivers" for Alva and Lavina's
road trip to see the bridge over Hoover Dam
(Pics of that to follow after I figure
out how to get them of my cell phone).
We stopped in Kingman on the way to
see Hoke's cousin and his wife...
We left Kingman, Hoke driving and on
his cell phone, Alva sleeping, me and
Lavina chit-chatting in the back seat...
and about an hour later we realized that
we were on I-40 West, headed to
Californ-i-a...oopsie!

As you can see we made it to Vegas,
next adventure...we were leaving the Riviera,
where we spent the night and Alva
decided to take the door with him!

View from the MacDonald's across the street
where the repair dude was fixing the door,
we plead the fifth!

Stay tuned for more adventures...
