Emily has this sign on her front porch

and I decided I needed one

(Sarah you have one too), and I

realized that I have signs everywhere,

almost to the OCD point of being ridiculous...

When Tobyn is doing something he's excited or

really happy about he always says...

always have, always will, can't help it, just do

(Dad knows about this, by the way)

and tonight was a tribute to him as

Artist of the Decade... YUM!

When I went outside this morning this is what I saw...

the Scouts had put our flag up for this Memorial Day

I had actually forgotten that they would be doing this

and it took me a little by surprise

It caused me to pause for a minute and think about

today... what do you have to think about today?

Grandpa's cupboard...

While my Grandpa Jack was building his house

(the house we live in), he lived in this little

house first (now my upholstery shop).

In a corner of this one room house was a kitchenette...

This was the cupboard and sink that he built...

sturdy as a rock.

Over the years it has been moved outside,

moved to other sheds to store tools,

and pretty much abused! Now it has

a fresh coat of white paint and moved

into our house, (the one that Grandpa built),

and storing all my treasures!

... and, Cronkite is lovin' his new home in the sink too!

My friends husband passed away this past week,

and in talking to her I realized how blessed I am for

all the "free" things in life...family, friends,

grandkids, gospel, so many things!

Mom's Birthday

A few weeks ago we celebrated my mom's

80th b'day, it was good to have so much family in town,

and there, and meant alot to mom.

Mom and the 4 sisters together, doing the

"sexy leg thang", well... maybe not so much!!

Good times.

Our Stake had the opportunity this morning

to work on the temple grounds with the gardeners.

What great weather to get to be there in!

Hard at work...
