Another year...

The excitement of arriving 

at the Az State Fair...

A little high school rodeo action...

And the view from the "death"

ride roller coaster, six year old

Tobyn made me go on.

My eyes were closed and

Tobyn said "I was screaming like a girl!"

He was right!

Jackpot!...

We were filling pinata's and

Easton and Olivia were

like "kids in the candy shop" literally!

Olivia squealed and jumped

right in the middle of it!



H-A-L-L-E-L-U-L-I-A!!!

This is what we've been waiting for...

I had to wear a sweatshirt this morning walking,

it's WONDERFUL!

Mucho Bueno...

"New Mexico Apple Pie"

Recipe:

4 Granny Smith Apples (Cored, peeled and sliced)

1 TBSP Lemon Juice

3 TBSP Flour

1 C. Sugar

2 Tsp. Cinnamon

1 Tsp. Nutmeg

1/2 C. diced green chili (or more to taste)

Pecan chips (or pinon nuts if preferred)

Pie crust

Combine all ingredients and let sit
while you make the crust

Put pie filling in crust,

(I add strips of green chili and a few dabs of butter)

Put top crust on and pinch down

Bake 1 hour at 400 degrees.

Try it...you'll like it!!

Our Relief Society meeting made these last

night for the bishopric...super easy.

Melt together in microwave:

25 Lg Marshmallows

3/4 cup brown sugar

1 Cube butter

Heat for 1 1/2 minute, stir

Heat another 1 1/2 minute,

stir and pour over popcorn.

Shape into balls and add candy of

choice, very festive, Thanks!
