I don't get too wrapped up in decorating for Halloween...

but a few years ago my very talented

 sister-in-law  - Bev  - made this cute witch!

She's so clever, if you look closely you'll

see it was originally a Santa face and

she changed it up to be this darling little gal...

my favorite!

Never a dull moment...

Last week we got to babysit Houston

for a few days...that's always a treat when

he's in town... here he is being a WHALE!

(Could ya tell that's what he's doing?)

Don't know if you can see the catepillar...

we discoverd literally hundreds of them

on some vine outside and realized now

why the vines are dead and we have

tons of butterflies everywhere!

Missy Violet is fascinated with "bugs"

and she loved it but she certainly

did NOT want to hold it!

Emily's kiddo's are on fall break this week...

so they got to have a sleepover...

lot's of adventures!

The 4th annual "Tour de Coops" tour

is coming up in November.

Last year Hoke and I went and it was

very interesting and a lot of fun...

he says "been there, done that"

and doesn't want to go again... but I do?

any takers ?

 

The tickets go on sale

October 1st and are

$15.00 in advance...the date is Nov. 10th

here it is already the middle of September

and the Holidays are just around the corner!

 

 

I love that we can finally feel a change in the weather...

but I have so many things I want to get done

and it's creeping in on us...sigh !

Rooster recliner...

I have this great, over-sized

Rooster Recliner that I recently

reupholstered...and now my

whole decor has changed and it

doesn't work for me anymore.

It's super comfortable and

basically brand new and needs

a new home  :)

 

It used to be a basic brown,

and now it's fun and whimsical...
