Somthing "B" eautiful...

There is something "beautiful"

(and fun)

about "babies, bubbles, and baths!"

It is what it is....

I don't know if I'm {{right}} brain...

if I'm {{left}} brain...

(not even sure what that means)

MOST of the time I'm {{scatter}} brain

or {{bird}} brain... but

I think I'm pretty low key,

seem to worry about dumb things too much,

and just enjoy doing what I do!

Recently Hoke was able to go

with Trent and Houston on  their

wards Father and Sons Outing...

Grandpa wanted to come along

so James brought him up and joined them...

This 90 year old guy had the

time of his life and camped

like a trooper! 

and this guy had a little fun too!

How awesome to have the pictures

of the FOUR generations...

look forward to many more!

Nice day...

The last few days have been

perfect weather...none of the above...

We went to the Mesa Cemetery but

I left my camera in the car...

then on to the park...

Violet was most interested in my phone...

Twelve o'clock...

At noon today I was

on a quest for Captain America...

for this 6 year old birthday boy!

Happy Birthday to Easton...

he's the bestest Captain America ever!!!

Technology...yeah right!

I can't work the dvd player,

I have an ancient flip phone,

and I have to call Emily

to change my blog background...

what ever happened to

the good ol' days ???

Besides all the normal things I love in my life...

ie...family, friends, chocolate...

I ((love)) to sleep!

I have one of these funky eye masks...

it does wonders for the sinuses and

just causes me to snuggle in to "ZZZZZZZZ" land!

Home Sweet Home...

I know I'm boring...

but my favorite place to

be is HOME!

It is what it is ;)...

I've made couches...

old furniture look funky and new...

bags...

crafts...

and food...

but the best things I ever made

was this handsome guy...

and this cute little girl...

so they could make these

awesome grandkids for us to enjoy!

Love them all...

Graham crackers...

My snack of choice is graham crackers...

I can down a whole packet with

a glass of milk in a matter of minutes -

no problem...

...but besides me piggin out on them...

they can be used for a variety of

yummy other stuff -- smores of course

this yummy cupcake...

always wanted to make one of these

fantastic little houses...

tried it once with the cubscouts

and it was pretty much a disaster!

and hint hint to my kids...

would love this cute little T-shirt

to make me feel better about my addiction!

What are you reading...?

Besides all the decorating, cooking and foo-foo

magazines and books...which is way to many...

because I have a sickness ;(...

we're reading the Book of Mormon.

We're in Mosiah...we read a chapter each

every morning (almost) and when

we finish we start over...

got to where I really enjoy that time!

"Grass..."

Hoke has always been in the "grass" business...

or Turf Management - to be politically correct...

he even taught how to grow grass at a

Golf Course Management school for a year.

All of our homes have had great yards

and we love having parties and activities in our yard...

Lots of playing...

checking out the riding tractor mower...

helping papa mow the yard...

hitching a ride...

birthday parties...

and tons of memories made

and many more to come!

 I have been saying for months now

that I am going to re-do my kitchen...

so I wish I had a big reveal -  I don't!
